Companies may have one or more vehicles that are used for official duties. Managing these vehicles and keeping track of which vehicle has been assigned to which staff and for what purpose can all be a cumbersome activity. Many businesses struggle to accurately record the usage of their vehicles.

The details of such staff will be displayed in the Admin console, along with their photo. ‘Star of the Week’ can thus be made a prestigious title and motivate employees to achieve the same.
A company may have different kinds of payments to be collected from their various clients. This job is often entrusted to their field staff. But there usually isn’t any system in place that can verify the receipt of payments at the company’s accounts department. Also online frauds are increasingly becoming common. In these circumstances, supervising payments collected by field staff is of grave importance. Our product employees to record their collections immediately, and enables accounts persons to verify receipt of such amounts. The staff who accurately collects the maximum amount in one week earns the title of ‘Safe hands of the Week,’ and similarly, the top collector of the month is ‘Safe hands of the Month.’
Our product can predict the daily income of a company. Just as expenses incurred by field staff can be tracked, the income to be collected can also be assigned to them. This income can even be given as daily target to be achieved.
Line 46 does not require internet connectivity for most of its functioning. But twice a day, for at least 30 seconds each, the App must be connected to the internet. Once, in the morning, when the staff logs in so that he can view the day’s duties assigned to him and again, at the end of the day, to update the status of all those duties. At all other times, the App works well without internet. But for storing the real time location in data base, internet connection is required.
Each staff’s daily expenses can be tracked in their Staff App, which also gets saved in the Admin platform. This helps in tracking daily expenses of employees in the future as well, and even assists the company to identify the total daily expenses borne by their employees as whole.
Most of the products for field staff management available in the market today are company-oriented i.e. they are aimed solely at increasing company profits and sales. Along with giving adequate importance to such company requirements, Line 46 also focuses on staff welfare. For example, the tracking feature enables the company to precisely locate their staff and ensure their safety too.
We want every field employee to be able to complete all their tasks conveniently and successfully. Line 46 has multiple features to make that happen. Sometimes, there may be unforeseen circumstances like an accident involving the staff or a dispute with a client. In such scenarios, the employee must immediately inform the office. For this, Line 46 has a special alert system developed into the app itself. There is a ‘PANIC’ button, in the Staff App, which can be clicked. If the admin is logged in, he can see which staff is facing that situation along with his exact location and time. The admin can then take the necessary remedial measures.
In our product, every staff can be assessed based on their performance and a score can be assigned. In this way, companies can identify who are their best performers. Additionally, these scores can be used to form teams and thus strengthen individual performance too.
A company will often have various kinds of news, circulars and information that regularly need to be disseminated among its employees. All this can be entered in the 'Add Info' section of our product. Any kind of information added here can be viewed by all employees on their staff app, in the 'Info' tab. In this way, the staff stay updated about the day-to-day activities of the business. Some of the main information that a company can add in the Info page are the rules and regulations for staff functioning, company guidelines, salary particulars, disciplinary instructions and other circulars.
Line46 has provided an option through which the companies can add the details of their staff, such as personal information, previous work history, educational qualifications, in the module. The details can also be edited if and when required. The staff’s performance, attendance, their involvement in each project, the success rate of the projects they get involved in, etc. can be tracked in the module. Such details can be used for future reference while involving a particular staff member in a project. Once an individual is added to the module, he or she receives an employee code and a username, with which the person can log into the module. Once they log in, the app begins tracking their work, expenses they incur while on the project, etc. and send it to the admin platform so that the management can be aware of the daily on goings of their employees.
As soon as an employee’s shift begins, he or she is required to log into Line46’s app so that they can receive information about the work they are supposed to do on a daily basis. Once the employee logs in, his or her real-time location can be tracked via GPS, which will be logged into the map facility of the app, thus making it available to the employers. Via this facility, the employers can track the staff’s real-time location, the areas they covered, how much time they spent at a particular location as well as what project they are involved in at any moment during the day. Every 15 seconds the location would be tracked by the app. The information would be available for 45 days, after which it will be erased from the system. For the app to track the location, it is important that the employee follows these three steps without fail -- ensure the GPS system in their phone is enabled, try to follow routes where internet connectivity is available and keep the phone in places where network is constantly accessible.
Along with individual field staff, Line 46 allows a company to manage an entire team. The team's performance, their score, the incomes and growth benefits that they bring to the company - all these can be tracked through our system. The evaluation of a team is done in the same manner as that of individuals, but presented in a combined format. With this Team Management module, our product helps you to identify which team performs the best, the team that brings in maximum growth for the company, those that are loss-making, and those that utilize the company's assets (like vehicles) properly. If an organization has multiple branches, this Team Management tool makes it extremely easy to manage their staff located at different outlets.
Very often, it is seen that employees perform better when they are part of a team, rather than individually. Our product's special Team Management module allows individuals to be linked to teams, and provides measures to help them fall in line with the team. Another advantage of this module is there is no requirement of having multiple lengthy discussions with each team to evaluate individual as well as team-level performance. Everything is presented in a graphical manner and reports can be generated instantly. So the time saved in evaluation can be put to better use.

Line 46 can automatically and scientifically track the dedication, integrity and honesty of your staff members without any specific inputs. It can suggest your Star of the Week/ Month according to their performance. Questions like who performed the best during the week/ month and who brought in more cash for the company will be answered. Also, the individual effort taken by each staff for the growth of the company can also be seen.

Line 46 has a full-comprehensive finance module. The daily expenses incurred by each field staff, as well as any amounts collected by him can be recorded here. He can easily send these details through the Staff App. There is also a page that shows the Balance Sheet for each day i.e. expenses and incomes that have been incurred. The management can identify which staff has brought in the maximum collections for each day or week through the Balance Sheet. The finance module helps staff and the employer to maintain the finances accurately and error-free. An employee's performance score considers how soon he enters the collection into the Appm as one of the factors of evaluation. Ideally, he must enter the collection instantly into the system for a higher score, but in case there is any delay, he must inform the same through the App and can expect a deviation in his score for the same.
If there are delays in submitting the expenses or payment collections, there are higher probabilities of inaccuracy in the data. Foreseeing this scope for misrepresentation, we have intentionally included the Finance module in our system. Through this module, Line 46 allows all financial aspects of a company to be efficiently managed.
There are many organizations that conduct many of their business functions outside office premises. For these outdoor jobs, staff may take various routes. Line 46 allows companies to add these routes into the system and manage them. New location points can be added and the route plans can be updated. On a daily basis, through the web administrator platform, a company owner can clearly identify the employees who are out on duty, which staff has taken which vehicle, what task have they gone for and what route have they taken. He/she can also see if the employee has followed the recommended route from the App to complete his tasks for the day or has he deviated from it.
Route Management is one of Line 46’s most important as well as unique features. As a business expands, its clientele grows and hence the number of field staff employed increases and the routes that they have to take also grow extensively. In line with this growth, our product allows a business owner to keep on adding the locations of their new clients onto the routes and the Route Maps get updated just as frequently.
The system allows you to obtain reports of the routes covered by an individual staff in one day. All the locations he visited and the complete route taken by him is reflected in this report. These daily reports are available in the system for 45 days, and automatically gets deleted after that.
How do you manage your field staff? More often than not, managers get in touch with their employees on the ground through their mobile phones. If you call them while they are performing their duty, it disturbs not only your staff but also your customers. Imagine a scenario in which your employee is giving a demonstration to a prospective customer. The interruption caused by your call will end up annoying the customer and will also consume their time.

Do you have a team that conducts on-site surveys for you? We can smoother their job while helping you to track them. When your survey staff visit a site and take photographs, it can be added to the Line 46 system using the app in their mobile. This app can also be used to collect signatures of the clients and record any questionnaires collected from the site. All these information gets stored in the Admin area of the system. Moreover, the survey feature in line 46 is not dependent on network connectivity. Hence, all these actions will be fulfilled under any circumstance.
Staff's work routes, their time spent on traveling, time spent to do each task, the procedure of reporting and updating management about each task will be more defined and prompt. As part of the management, you do not have to bother calling them over and over again- trying to understand how much work they have completed or still is pending. If the staff do not enter their updates via the app, their work will be considered as ‘not done’. Plus, you also have the option to check the accuracy of the information they have entered.

The Line 46 messaging system allows you to send messages to your field staff which will instantly appear in their mobile app under the tab ‘Messaging’. The replies that they send to you will appear on your page when you press the ‘Refresh this page’ button. These messages will be saved for future reference. Do remember that this is not a full-swing messaging system like WhatsApp or Google Hangout. It will only facilitate the discussion of business topics.
Most companies save the data of their staff as well as their accounting details in excel sheets. These companies, while shifting to a new software, would also have a fear that they might lose their old data. However, Line46 has a solution for this. The details can be imported to Line46 with just a click. The data that has been saved by the company in excel sheets or in a CSV format can be imported to Line46 through the app’s import section, that too with just one click.
Any items or documents owned by the company (For eg: RC book of vehicle, Traveling allowance, sale tax license etc) which can be furnished to process job assignments are referred as assets. You can add and manage these information in the 'asset' section of our product. You can modify these assets anytime through the administration area. Once the application (android app) is installed on staff’s mobile phones, they can view the assets allotted for their job.
Line46’s report module comes with the staff’s performance, attendance reports apart from the expenses they incurred during a day while working on the field. The module also includes vehicles’ report such as who used them and how much money staff has collected on behalf of the company, if any. Certain companies might not be privy to their staff’s each activity due to which they might not be able to evaluate the latter’s daily performance. Line46’s report section has the proficiency to facilitate this. Staff’s individual report, including how they work as part of a team, can be retrieved from this module. The highlight of this module is that it tracks every individual’s performance and creates an intelligence scoring, be it on a daily, monthly or time-period based manner. Using this, the company can decide on the incentives for the staff, monetary or otherwise.

Meetings with clients are extremely important. Line46’s module ensures that the meetings are on track and no deadline has been missed. In case an appointment or a deadline has not been met, the option of re-assigning it to the next day is also available. Each appointment that has been added to the module will be sent to the staff via the app so that it can be processed. The top management can also keep track of which appointment each staff is attending to. If the number of appointments or client meeting of a company is on the rise, it signifies the firm’s advancement in its field. Due to this, in case there are too many pre-arranged meetings, the top management might not be able to give the same level of importance to all or even prioritize them on the basis of their importance. This is where the appointment manager module comes into play. Through an extremely user-friendly interface, the management will be able to prioritize the meetings on a weekly, monthly or even daily basis.
In a day, one field staff may have to visit different clients by traveling through various routes and changing traffic situations. These appointments may all be at varying times of the day, and could even be along routes that he doesn’t know. It’s only natural then, if he gets confused. Line 46 helps you avoid such situations through their feature called ‘Route Planner.’
When a staff arrives for work, he must first login to the Staff App. Here, he can view the Job List, Task List and Appointment List for the day. He must then click on the Route Planner link, which opens a Map. This map shows markers for each client that must be visited on that day. For example, if a staff is assigned 10 clients on a particular day, his Map will show 10 Markers – one for each client. When the staff touches each of the markers, he will see that client’s name, address, phone number and appointment details. With the help of this map, the field staff can plan his route for the day and manage his time efficiently.
